The Two-Century Mark

It has been 200 days since Cortney last smoked a cigarette. I know I have mentioned this before, but I continue to be amazed by his ability to stick with this.

Like any other addiction, he is always just one drag away from starting again, but because of his committment to quitting, he has been "clean" for 200 days. According to the support site he has (through Chantix, the drug that helped him quit), he may have saved approximately $1,000 by quitting! This is based on him smoking - on average - a pack a day at $5 a pack.

A thousand dollars! That is crazy! And studies show the younger you are when you quit, the smaller your chance of developing cancer, heart disease, or other smoking-related diseases.

So here we are at another milestone in his quitting. The big 200 and $1000 saved! Rock on in the SMOKE FREE Sluiter Nation!!!
