Back To School, Anyone?

You know what time it is, don't you? I know you can feel it...the chill in the air...the smell of freshly sharpened pencils...the sense of adolescent panic. Yup, it's BACK TO SCHOOL TIME!

GRCC already started classes this past week, so Cort was back to school on Wednesday already. This semester he has American Government on Wednesday nights and English on Thursday nights. Then I believe he will be done with his gen ed classes. Unfortunately, he will also probably be done being able to take all his classes in Holland too.
This past week I also headed to school. I had to get my classroom ready for the first day--which is tomorrow--and for the substitute teacher who will be starting my year for me while I finish up my maternity leave.
Eddie came with me on Tuesday. I have to be honest, he was more of a distraction than a help, but it was fun to show him off to the other teachers who were working.
I was back in to school Wednesday afternoon and Saturday morning/afternoon. I think my classes are set for the first week of school...now to find time to plan out the other 2 weeks that I will be gone. Oh well...it will be worth it to be home with Eddie an extra 12 days.

Happy "Back to School" to all of you students, teachers, and school workers out there!
