Recently we noticed that this guy could reach up and grab the bumper in his crib. He was even pulling on it when he would roll on his tummy.
This week, Cort sat Eddie up in the crib while Cort went to find Eddie something to wear. Lo and behold this guy could see over the side pretty well.
And then he scooted himself right up to the side to say hi to daddy! 
Then, because he is Eddie, he leaned in and gave the rail a taste. 
And that is when the decision was made to lower the mattress a notch.

that first picture is HILarious. I don't know why, it just makes me laugh so hard and I really needed that right now...thank you eddie my dear boy!! I can just *hear* him in it...and those monkey pajamas? fohget ahbout it!
