Friday Flip-offs #4

Aw..yeah...you know what day it is today!  FRIDAY!  And Friday means?  Friday Flip-offs courtesy of my girl, Gigi over at Kludgy Mom.She is the brain child behind this wonderfully therapeutic Friday blog meme, and I am forever grateful to her.  So you really should go check out what she is flipping off too!

Ok...let's get started, shall we?

First, I would like to flip off entering month 10 of Cort's unemployment.  While we are thankful for the few (stress FEW) interview opportunities?  A little recognition of his awesome enjoyability skills and then a JOB would be nice.  So FLIP OFF!

Also?  I would like to flip off tantrums.  I really thought we had at LEAST until 18 months before those started, but no.  Eddie arches his back, sits down, and flip the crap right out.  sigh...

I also need to flip off people who do not return emails.  This?  Is incredibly frustrating.  Now you're all wondering and scouring your inboxes to see if you missed an email by me, but in all reality?  I am probably not talking about anyone who reads this little ole blog.  But for those people who have no idea that I am passively aggressively cranky at them?  Flip off!

And lastly?  To the nail polish that chipped off in one giant chunk from my big toe less than TWO WEEKS after getting a pedicure and just days before I have to go to a wedding.  Seriously?  What the ham sandwich?  Now my toe is all ugly.  Bah.  FLIP OFF!

Whew!!!  That feels so much better!  I am all cleansed and zen and stuff now.  Do you want to flip something off?  You can leave a comment or you can head over to Kludgy Mom and link up your own (and read a ton of other blogs who are flipping stuff off too!)

Oh and also?  I am over at Beloved Mama today talking about fun stuff to do in the summer.  You should really head over there and check it out...I mean, there ARE cute pictures of Eddie involved.  See you there!

I HATE non-responders when it comes to email! Even worse is when said person sends you a different email about something without acknowledging your first email. HATE IT!!!

Ok, I have to agree with Gina. The different non-acknowledging email? Really irritating.

I had really hoped that you would be flipping off the 10 months of unemployment & waving a new job around gratuitously in its face. :( I'm sorry. Hopefully that great job that is meant just for him? Will hurry the heck up! ;o)

Oh, I hope Cort finds something soon. Tough times, all around.

I will join you on the pedicure flip. I got one last week. I only get one every blue moon due to budget. within 3 days I had a chip. Seriously? I want to go back and ask for a redo.

Have a great weekend!

I hate the word "retard", so I will flip it off and ask everyone else to do the same.

Okay, I absolutely detest chipping nail polish... it seems like they should have figured out a perfect non-chipping formula by now. FYI I found a pretty great one for only $2.99 at any drugstore... It's called Xtreme Wear by Sally Hanson. It's awesome!

Katie,
I'm not sure if Cort is interested in something in the GR area, but since I work in HR I tend to know people...if you'd like to send me a resume, maybe I could get it into the right hands?

I'll also flip off the nail polish because that irritates me to no end!

And tantrums. Double flip off from me, too!

Chipped nail polish is sooo frustrating! I very rarely get a mani or pedi now but when I do it's rare that I haven't chipped it in a couple of days!

You didn't take those freshly painted toes camping did you?!?

I am so guilty of not returning emails in my regular email account these days. After I opened my email associated with my blog, I totally ignore my other one. Oopsie. This is a good reminder to go check and see if someone is flipping me off.

Flipping off the people who have no idea that you are passive-aggressively cranky at them?

That is just all kinds of awesome.

Me? I will flip off the person who has sent me three emails preparing me for the arrival of an future email.

Really?

STOP THAT!

Ohhhh I hate it when I send emails and not one word. I always think "did that get to them, did they see it, why the heck are they not answering" It is worse when it is something time sensitive and I need an answer NOW. Hope the tantrums stop soon those are the worst.

Have a great weekend!

Alright, the people who don't answer emails? I'm right there with you. WTF? Phone calls, I totally understand. I hate the phone, what with there being actual TALKING involved. But email? Come on!

Came here from Beloved Mama's blog. I read your guest post, and had to laugh at your effort to be upbeat and excited about your toddler ingesting sand at the beach...see, I can say this because I went through the ever-lovin' beach scene with four kids.
I'm still laughing at your Friday Flip-Off...I hope I remember to join this activity on Friday because I bet it's terribly therapeutic to be cyber flipping people!
Loved your blog, love your voice!
