OB appointment - 20 weeks

Today was my 20-week appointment and all went very well, as usual. I only gained 3 pounds since the last visit, which is normal. Apparently it will start to go up from here though since I am entering the second half of the pregnancy. I am pretty proud of my ability to keep the extra weight down and only gain what is needed--especially with my new sweet tooth!!

For the stat trackers out there...Ed's hearbeat is still at 142 (for the last 3 visits), and my uterus is measuring 22 inches--which is a frickle longer than normal, but nothing to be worried about. Eddie is estimated (from the ultrasound pics) to weigh about 3/4 of a pound, and he/I are in the 77th percentile in growth, which means we are above average (but you all KNEW that already, right?). Our doc was very happy with our progress thus far! Which we are very, very thankful for!

Our next visit is in four weeks. We will have one more four-week visit, and then (once I hit about 28 weeks) we go to every 2 weeks. We have gotten over the halfway point!!!

So what are Cortney and I are doing next to prepare for Ed's arrival? Well registering, of course! We have a date tomorrow to hit Babies R Us and we have a Valentine's Day date to hit Target next week. We are SOOO excited to pick out boy things for our little guy! Pray that I don't have a meltdown during registry and that Cort has the strength and patience to deal with me when I do have that meltdown anyway! :)
