This has seriously been the best dang birthday EVER! A trip to Chicago with some of my best friends, a super fun evening and great gifts from my momma-in-law, and now a huge birthday surprise from my parents and Cortney: a new super awesome canon rebel xs camera! I was blown away by this gift! Good thing I have friends (many, thank goodness!) who know how to work such a "professional" camera (professional compared to the turd stick camera I've BEEN using), and who can help me get acquainted with my new friend! Hmmm...I may have to hit up my crafty friend, Whitney, for a little customized camera strap. And maybe get some tips from my photog friend, Missy, (or one of my other super creative photo crazed friends) who also uses a canon. And of COURSE I will have to completely scour the internet for a sweet camera bag! Any suggestions? Can you tell I am to the moon excited? 'Cause I totally am. Totally.
