We have lots of December birthdays in our lives: Cortney's, Kim's Jack's, Merrick's, Jeff's, and Kelli's. My cousin, Rachel's new baby, Shayla just joined Team December and Tara's baby, Oliva will be next!
Tonight we celebrated Jack's 3rd birthday. His actual birthday is Friday, the 21st, but he was able to come over to my parents' house tonight. Mom made dinner for all of us and then we had cake and icecream. Jack LOVED the singing and the candle blowing!
After cake and icecream - Jack really just ate the icecream, but he enjoyed watching everyone else eat their cake - it was time to open presents. I don't think Jack quite understood that it was all for him. He wanted everyone to open presents! Boy, will he love Christmas next week!
He was really excited about all his new stuff, but in the end, all he really wanted was for Uncle Michael to build him a fort so he could sit in it with uncle Michael, daddy, aunt Katie, and Jenny.
